Enos Lane Public Utility District
The next regularly scheduled Board Meeting is MONDAY November 18, 2024 at 6:30pm.
The agenda for November 18, 2024 is now available: Click Here
The Enos Lane Public Utility District is a small public water system that supplies water to the Calder's Corner Area on the corner of Rosedale Highway and Enos Lane.
The District is managed and operated by 5 volunteer community members who serve as the District's Board and we do not have any employees. The best way to contact us for non-emergency questions/comments/concerns, including billing questions, is through email at enoslanepud@gmail.com
If you are experiencing a water service emergency (water service has stopped, broken main service lines, etc.) please contact the Board President, Vincent Arriola, directly at (661)706-4314.
Did you know?
The majority of our operating cost is our monthly PG&E bill. Minimizing water usage during PG&E's peak hours is one of the best ways to help ensure we can keep up with their ever-increasing rates without continuous rate increases of our own.
Are you receiving our automated messages for water service alerts? If you would like to sign-up for these notifications or need to update your contact information, fill out the form located here.
Planning to dig on your property?
In addition to contacting utilities like PG&E and SoCal Gas before digging on your property, don't forget to contact ELPUD as well! We have main water lines running through many of the properties in our service area. Hitting a main water line without prior approval from ELPUD to confirm water lines could result in you paying for any repairs + estimated water loss!
Automated bill pay through your Bank
Many banks have Bill Pay services available to automatically send a check on your behalf to our PO Box. Check with your bank/financial institution to see if they offer this service!
When setting this service up, the bank will typically need the following information:
Payee: Enos Lane Public Utility District
Address: P.O. Box 22198
Bakersfield, CA 93390-2198
Amount: The dollar amount to be sent on each check
*Schedule: This will vary based on your bank. Read their fine print on delivery times to ensure your check is received by the 20th of each month to avoid late fees.*

Avoid watering mid-day - especially in the Bakersfield heat. The EPA estimates up to 20-30% of sprinkler water is lost to evaporation when watering during the day in the Bakersfield heat.
Regularly check your indoor and outdoor plumbing for leaks. The average household could lose nearly 10,000 gallons of water per year due to small leaks like dripping faucets and faulty toilet flappers.
There are multiple government funded agencies for assistance in housing, utilities, food, family services and more available in California. If you're in need of any of these assistance programs, head over to https://findhelp.org for a centralized listing of available services in our area.
